On July 27, 2010, Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. (hereafter Toppan Printing; head office Tokyo; President & CEO: Shingo Kaneko) and Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (hereafter DNP; head office: Tokyo; President Yoshitoshi Kitajima) will establish the Association for E-publishing Business Solution based on close cooperation with the publishing industry and targeting the development of an environment for the growth and healthy development of the Japanese E-publishing business.

By cooperating with publishing related groups, rights holders and governmental institutions, this association will aim for activities that contribute to the growth of electronic publishing such as identifying and considering the issues that must be tackled for the growth of the E-publishing business, addressing problems related to the distribution infrastructure base and relevant solutions, testing of market formation and making proposals related to the promotion of e-publishing.

Toppan Printing and DNP will be the founders and participation will be broadly welcomed by companies that have an interest in the development of the E-publishing business and agree with the purpose of the association’s establishment.
