We hereby give notice that the following provisional changes of representative directors were agreed at the Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. board of directors meeting held on March 18, 2010. Changes in the roles of representative directors will be formally determined after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held in late June this year and the subsequent board of directors meeting.

-New position : Chairman & Representative Director

-Name : Shingo Kaneko
-Current position : Representative Executive Vice President
-New position : President & CEO

2.Reasons for the changes
Naoki Adachi was appointed to his current position in June 2000 and in June of this year will have completed 10 years of his tenure. With results beginning to be seen for reforms to strengthen profitability through TOPPAN VISION 21, which Mr. Adachi has pushed forward since his appointment, these personnel changes have been made with consideration also given to rejuvenating top management. Under the management of new president Mr. Kaneko, the company will proactively tackle its management challenges of (1) decisive structural reform, (2) accelerating towards globalization, (3) strengthening group-base management, and (4) creation of new businesses, and further increase the speed of operations.
